is it too late for a 14 year old to learn to play the piano?

i want so much to learn the piano..i took lessons last summer but i stopped after only about 3 months because i wasn’t practicing enough,i was so concentrated on my studies..but if i give so much time on piano playing i couldn’t pay so much attention on my homeworks..i regret stopping the lessons…i want to have my piano lessons again but i’m afraid it’s already too late and it would become a little difficult now that i’m older…is it too late to learn piano now??please answer…

The only time it’s too late to learn to play a musical instrument is when they are lowering you into the ground. (certain medical exceptions of course)

No, go and learn piano if you want. Doesn’t matter if you are 14 or 94. But learning now will give you more time to enjoy playing ;-)

it’s never too late unless you became incredibly stupid from those last 3 months. Say if you started when you wwere 12, you would have been pretty decent by 13-14. but since you’re starting at 14 you’ll be pretty good bye 15-16.

It’s just the time/age difference nothing else. Good luck.
